DR BREN, trained both as a professional life and executive coach and educated with a doctorate in depth psychology, focuses on helping individuals, professionals, and couples suffering with:  personality issuesrelationship issuescareer issues and / or spiritual issues.

After a strong 15 year career in Corporate America as an organizational development consultant with an emphasis in information technology and process improvement, she decided to start her own coaching practice in 2005.

There are several flavors of life coaches. At the low end of the spectrum there are life coaches who have absolutely no training, no education, and no certifications. At the high end of the spectrum there are life coaches who have gone all the way, that is, training, education, and certification.

DR BREN has successfully completed training in two different (one for personal and one for executives) life coaching programs:

  • Success Unlimited Network, for individuals, was one of the first coaching certification programs in the United States. Teri-E Belf, the founder, sat on the committee that developed the first ethical guidelines for the International Coaching Federation (the recognized credentialing board)
  • New Ventures West is a professional coaching program for executives loosely based on Ken Wilber’s Integral Psychology, but with a Buddhist twist.

In addition, to being trained as both a personal and executive life coach, DR BREN holds a Doctorate in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, a Jungian Analytical Psychology program in Santa Barbara. Jungian Psychology is the mystical / spiritual end of psychology. Where traditional / clinical psychology focuses on Ego, Jungian Psychology focuses on both Ego and Soul. DR BREN sets a new standard for life coaching by including the hero's journey.

DR BREN's Self-Mastery Coaching Program aims toward psychological wholeness. While psychotherapists and MFT's (marriage family therapists) focus on the mental disorders, and most life coaches focus on behavior modification, DR BREN focuses on normal people with normal life issues and those who looking to self-actualize.
