DR BREN'S Life Coaching Process go through four stages: integral intake interview, personality assessments, coaching plan development, and on-going coaching towards self-mastery.
In our first session, I will conduct a comprehensive interview covering all aspects of your life using the Integral Intake, based on Ken Wilber's AQAL model of psychological development. This process will help identify which quadrant (Mind, Relationships, Body, World) shapes your primary perspective, as well as areas for growth in other quadrants.
We'll also assess the developmental levels across six key lines—cognitive, emotional, relational, values, spiritual, and worldview—and identify the states of development you frequently inhabit.
By understanding your unique mental structures, we can effectively focus on areas to cultivate as you move toward self-mastery.
I use several assessment tools to get a complete view of your life and your relationships.
The Enneagram is a personality typing system that identifies nine distinct personality types, each with its own motivations, fears, desires, and behavioral patterns. It suggests that individuals primarily operate from one dominant type, but can also exhibit traits of adjacent types in certain situations. The system emphasizes self-awareness, personal growth, and understanding interpersonal dynamics. Each type is represented by a number from one to nine, and understanding one's Enneagram type can provide insights into one's strengths, weaknesses, and potential areas for growth.
I use the enneagram test at The Enneagram Institute to get information on your ennea-type. This gives me information about how your personality developed away from your soul seed and how to help you find your way back to your true self.
Natal astrology is a practice that interprets the positions of celestial bodies at the exact moment of an individual's birth to uncover insights into their personality traits, tendencies, and life experiences. It operates on the belief that these celestial placements influence an individual's character, motivations, and life path. By analyzing the natal chart, which maps the positions of the sun, moon, planets, and other astrological points in relation to the Earth, astrologers can provide guidance on various aspects of life, including relationships, career, health, and personal growth. Natal astrology aims to offer individuals a deeper understanding of themselves, their strengths, weaknesses, and potential challenges, empowering them to make informed decisions and navigate life's complexities with greater self-awareness and purpose.
Using your birth information I cast your natal astrological chart. This helps me understand what life lessons you have to learn in this life.
Gene Keys is a spiritual and personal growth system that combines elements of astrology, the I Ching, and genetics to provide a framework for self-discovery and transformation. Central to the Gene Keys philosophy is the concept of "the Golden Path," which suggests that each individual has a unique life purpose and potential encoded within their DNA. The system is based on 64 archetypal "Gene Keys," which correspond to the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching. Each Gene Key represents a specific aspect of human consciousness and potential, ranging from qualities such as fear and limitation to higher virtues like compassion and wisdom. Through contemplation and exploration of their personal Gene Keys profile, individuals can uncover patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that may be holding them back, as well as unlock their latent talents and abilities. The Gene Keys system encourages self-reflection, meditation, and the cultivation of virtues to facilitate personal growth, inner transformation, and the realization of one's highest potential.
Also using your birth information I get your Hologenetic Profile from genekeys.com. This helps me understand your life's work, love profile and vocational journeys from an ego/shadow perspective to your higher self aspiration.
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a widely-used personality assessment tool developed by Katharine Cook Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers based on the theories proposed by Carl Jung. It categorizes individuals into one of sixteen personality types based on their preferences in four dichotomies: Extraversion (E) vs. Introversion (I), Sensing (S) vs. Intuition (N), Thinking (T) vs. Feeling (F), and Judging (J) vs. Perceiving (P). Each individual is identified by a four-letter code, representing their preferences in each dichotomy (e.g., INFJ, ESTP). The MBTI aims to provide insights into how individuals perceive the world, make decisions, interact with others, and approach tasks. While the MBTI is widely used in various contexts such as career counseling, team-building, and personal development, it's important to recognize its limitations and use it as a tool for self-awareness rather than a definitive measure of personality.
I use the personality profile test at personalitymax.com to test your psychological type and multiple intelligences. This helps me to understand how you perceive and judge the world.
I partner with Kelsey Marie, a medium/psychic artist, to get an alchemical drawing of your psyche as it presents energetically. It's like getting an x-ray of your psyche. (See pricing below for more details.)
DR BREN guides individuals through the intricate tapestry of their life stories, helping them to discern patterns and symbols that reveal their deeper life purposes—often hidden in plain sight. Her sessions often become revelatory experiences where clients discover that moments they have lived "on purpose" were not random, but deeply connected to their authentic selves. Through compassionate dialogue and insightful interpretation, she assists her clients in recognizing these moments not as isolated incidents, but as integral parts of a lifelong journey towards self-actualization. This process not only affirms their experiences but also empowers them to embrace and intentionally integrate their purpose into all aspects of their lives.
Jungian Parts Work is a therapeutic approach that conceptualizes the mind as a community of different "parts," each with its own unique characteristics, emotions, and motivations. We view these parts as sub-personalities within an individual, each playing a role in shaping behavior and emotions. The goal of Jungian Parts Work is to help individuals explore and understand their internal system of parts, promoting healing and integration by fostering compassionate self-awareness and balance among these various aspects of the psyche. Through this process, individuals can cultivate greater self-compassion, resilience, and a deeper understanding of their own inner dynamics.
